Hailey lost Tooth # 5!

OK, this kid is unbelievable! She has lost 5 teeth now! This one was her top right fang tooth or her lateral incisor. She lost this one by accident though! Hailey and I had gone to cheer practice and left Harris with Honey. When we went to pick Harris up afterwards, Hailey decided to scare Honey. So while we waited for Honey to open the front door, Hailey put a pair of scary orange teeth in her mouth. She was planning on jumping out from behind me and saying 'Boo!' But we didn't make it that far. The orange teeth starting hurting and she took them out. When she did, it halfway pulled the tooth and it really started bleeding! So when Honey did open the door, she saw Hailey crying with a bloody mouth! We went inside and Honey got a washcloth and gently pulled the tooth the rest of the way out! We were not in the house 30 seconds and Hailey was once again snaggle tooth! Honey and Hailey decided this tooth came out with teamwork! She looks so cute with all these teeth missing!

Honey's Birthday '09

Today was my mom's, aka Honey, birthday. Hailey had a half day of school. I picked Honey up, then we went and picked Hailey up from school. The three girls went shopping for Honey a new outfit and got her hair cut. Harris was in PDO and we had to pick him up later. Then in the evening, the kids and I, Nana and Daddy Don, Dee Dee and Pops, and Jeanne (Mimi), took my mom out to dinner at Red Lobster. Honey loves that restaurant, but doesn't get to eat there very often. She had a good time and the kids got to pet a live lobster... so cute!

Family Fun Day

William was about to go out of town again, so we decided to have a family fun day. We ate at Fuddruckers then took the kids to Putt Putt. They LOVE Putt Putt! And we really don't spend any money! We walk around and let the kids 'play' on the games... even though we don't put tokens in them, the machines continues to play a demo. The kids think they are playing the game. Then if we walk around, we usually find some tokens on the floor. We found almost 10 today. Harris and Hailey both get to pick what game to really play. Then we went outside for a free game of mini-golf. Kids 5 and under are free. I forgot that Hailey turned 6 last week! Oh, well! The best part is just being together!

Hailey's 6th Birthday

I can hardly believe my baby is 6 years old now! She is such a big girl. Here is a little bit about our big 6 year old now... Along with having to use two hands to show her age, she started kindergarten this year, (tough year for mom!) she is at the top of her class and is reading, she loves to read. She reads signs to us as we are driving now. She amazes us! Hailey loves computer games and loves to play with Harris. Hailey still loves to play dress up and LOVES to sing! If she is awake, she is singing! Hailey loves her fish, Ariel, and often asks when we are getting a dog. At her check up, Hailey measured in at 46 inches tall and 46 pounds. They said she is 75% for both and exactly proportionate. Hailey is a little sponge and loves to soak up every ounce of knowledge she can. She is sweet, sassy, girly, and so much fun! She is beautiful inside and out. Hailey is our Princess!
For her birthday, Hailey wanted a horse party. I had it all planned. We were going to have a pony for the kids to ride. While waiting for the pony, the kids were going to bounce in a bounce house. We had a pinata. But Mother Nature had other plans. It rained all day, literally, all day! So at 11:30 am, the day of the party, I cancelled the pony and the bounce house. I was able to book a last minute party with Silly Shindigs. The owner came out and had a great party for Hailey. They threw rings over boots, had a cowboy, ahem, excuse me, cowgirl scavenger hunt and other games. Hailey had a great time. Then of course, we had to celebrate her birthday on her actual birthday. Harris' 1st of day of Parents Day Out

Today was Harris' first day of Parents Day Out (PDO) this fall. He attended PDO last year, one day a week. This year he will be there two days a week. The school has had to move some things around so he is in the same room as last year, but he has new teachers, the same teachers that Hailey had her second year of PDO, Mrs. Kim & Mrs. Phyllis. He really seems to like them and they told me he did very well for them. They told me he listens well, is very sweet, and is well behaved.... that's my boy!
